Christmas Presents

Yeah so this year I decided to create presents for family rather than buying gifts. 'Cause I'm cheap and thoughtful. That's what I like to think, anyway. :)

Natalie's will be my favorite to draw haha and Dago's will be... interesting... Tiffany's will be something PINK. <3

The sad thing is that I only have my brother's present completed... And it's December 22nd...

Early Acceptance to Ai!!

I already posted about it on Facebook, now I have to post it on here so my fellow art nerds can get excited with me...! :)

My Admissions Director Rhyan called me and was like, "Hi Nicole, Guess what!" and I'm all, "What is it?" and she's all, "You got early acceptance into the Art Institute! Isn't that great?!" and then I screamed into the phone...

So yeah, that's how that went down... I get my letter in the mail next week or somethin', but Rhyan told me she'd call as soon as I got early acceptance. AND SHE DID! AND I EHM SOOO HAPPAY!!

Gel Stick Sketch

I'm not sure what to make of this piece! I love the outcome and all, but... I just randomly made her up. I finally got around to scanning this and uploaded it to deviantART. At first I just titled this 'Blondie' and didn't add it to any groups. It didn't get a lot of attention which totally bummed me out. Then I realized how much the girl looks like Fionna from Adventure Time... So I changed the title to 'Fionna' and added it to several Adventure Time groups... And then it starts getting a ton of views of favorites! People are obsessed with fanart, I can not stress that enough! :)

because this piece is too big for my scanner, the bottom part of her dress and her hands were cropped out. :(
